acupressure (does it work??)

So today my friend told me about a method women can do to induce themselves..or help start labor. She told me that putting pressure or rubbing pressure points helps. I had never heard about this but I was doing some research and saw that it does help.. had anyone else had their labor start this way? How did it go for you or how long after doing this did you go in labor?

My cousin swears by the accupuncture. She said she was uncertain of the needles but had so much ms the first trimester she decided to try it. She said it worked so well with the ms that when her due date came and went she figured she would try it again. The next night she went into labor. I don't know anything about accupressure though

Before my baby shower I went to have a pedicure and my mom said to be careful since there are pressure point that can initiate labor! I didn't go into labor but I'm sure there's something holistically that can trigger it!
