Yes.I actually got stitches my self.I had to pour warm water while peeing and that helped alot.On the other hand it took me about a month to feel better.I was in so much pain.could bearly walk.
Witch hazel pads were amazing! They were natural, yet wonderful for tearing. I started feeling and looking back to normal around four weeks after I had my son. So, hang in there, momma!
I was told to put a bowl in the toilet seat fill it with hot water (as hot as u can handle) & sit like if you are about to pee for about 20 minutes so blood can flow faster & your cut can heal faster too. my tear was bad. Yur lucky you only had four stiches.
Awe four stitches lucky! I got 14... Everything she said I agree with. Tucks pads are.amazing! Two weeks tummy went down. One week stitches felt better but the doctor accidentally cut a butt muscle when he did the episiotomy so I still feel that ache and its been a month. I heard the burning is normal when you pee from the tear. Congrats :)
I lost all my baby weight within two weeks, and my episiotomy started to feel better after two weeks. Each time after I peed, I had a squirt bottle of warm water to clean excess urine or blood, layered up my pad with lidocaine gel, and sprayed my cut with the numbing spray that you can find in the pharmacy aisle. sitting on a pillow will help too. As far as working out, your doctor has to clear you which will be after your 6 week appointment.
my belly keeps going down and my daughter is 2 months old.. although I saw a huge difference about 2 weeks later. . I've heard about pouring water while ur peeing to help with the burning .. I had a c section and because of complications i still can't work out
I've heard witch hazel pads work awesome for tearing during delivery, (although I had a c-section, my family swore by them) And I can imagine after tearing, burning when you pee is normal. Congratulations by the way!
My mum said to have a jug of warm water for relief, pour this over urself down there when u pee to stop the urine from touching and burning ur stitches x
