The airline I used didnt need to know anything unless you are 28 weeks or more. I flew at 18 and 20 weeks with no problems at all.

You should've asked your doctor first. Sometimes they don't want you to fly, I'm not allowed to fly but at the same time, I'm a high risk pregnancy.

As long as you've had a healthy pregnancy thus far you should be okay as long as your Dr says its okay. Swelling of the feet is most common when traveling while pregnant but if your further along in your pregnancy flying can cause you to go into labor in some cases. Which is why your not allowed to fly after a certain point. But that's usually not a concern until after 30-32 weeks.

Ask for doctor's clearance before flying and also check with airline's policy for pregnant women.

I'm not sure 100% I would talk to your ob because after certain amount of weeks I think you need the okay from dr before they will let you fly. I'm not 100% on that though it's just what I've heard. You could probably call the airline place and ask them there policy. Good luck

My doctor strongly reccomended not traveling after 30 weeks. Each doctor is different so its best to consult your doctor or midwife.
