There are three and a half glasses of wine in a standard 75 ml bottle.

If you literally have done that only once,  and don't intend to do it again,  you should be fine.

I REALLY hope no one is reading this thinking you can do this often and have a healthy baby,  because you can't.  I agree with the others that an occasional glass of wine won't harm the baby although I didn't have a sip once we started to try,  and I like wine.

And yes,  people have done much worse than this and there are a lot of babies with learning disabilities to show for it.

woah. umm. a lot of what other users have said is true. people have done much worse not knowing they were pregnant and gone on to have healthy babies. but you may want to mention to your midwife or Ob. what happened. and i also agree its a good idea to stay away from ALL wine until after the baby since you deffinitly dont want a repeat incident.

It's drinking a glass of red wine once a week during ur last trimester. And by a glass they mean 8 oz.    praying for the best for ur baby.  And maybe you should just not drink wine if you can't control yourself

Yeah, everyone has been telling me that a glass a day is no problem. Most women have one. And the fact that i havent had a drop of alcohol since i been pregnant those three glasses didnt scare me until the day after.

Many people go their whole pregnancy not knowing they are pregnant and ingest worse stuff, there isn't usually a lot of alcohol percentage to a bottle of wine,  yes I agree it still shouldn't have been a whole bottle, just let your midwife or doctor know next time you see them so they can take the correct precautions at the birth incise anything does happen from it. Try not to stress over it what's done is done.

Were you so relaxed that you didn't realize you poured more than one glass?

Don't worry yourself if you are not an alcoholic an drink everyday you will be fine do not let women scare you.. You obviously know what it can do and a bottle of wine is about two glasses! My mother did it with my brother and was just as worried she went to the doctors and told them and they said it happens and just not to do it again. I've had a couple glasses of wine during my pregnancy and I'm 34 weeks long and I have a very very healthy baby boy.

:'( how did a glass turn into a bottle?? Anything you ingest that precious baby gets too so if you got a buzz that baby was drunk :'( not trying to be mean or harsh but that's the truth.

You won't know until he/she is born...that's kinda bad though, not trying to be mean, but really, your baby would be more important you'd think, than wanting a glass of wine and having no will power to stop and drinking the whole bottle...
