I had an emergency c section and I had my tongue ring in the nurse was like she has metal in her mouth! I was like hold on I'll take it out. I never got it back so just take it out when you get to the hospital and put it back in after delivery... I was in the hospital 4 days and I could almost get my tongue ring back in so urs won't close up right away :)

I took mine out myself when I found out I was pregnant back in August last year. I had my baby girl at 38 weeks and 1 day, she is 2 weeks old today. I had her April 10th. I was induced due to pre eclampsia.  But my doctor said if I kept it I wouldn't have been able to keep it in for l&d. But yours won't close within a day so you should be fine. I would have been able to keep it until I went into labor. But I decided just to remove mine right away :) congrats on your pregnancy!

I had to take mine out both times. My youngest will be 2 in September. All jewelry has to be taken off in case of an emergency

When I had my daughter (3years ago) I didn't need to take mine out I understand earnings and belly rings but I don't think tounge bars would be an issue x

You have to take jewelry off in case of emergencies. More than likely nothing will happen but if they had to revive you, any jewelry can become an exit point.
