am I going into labor?

38 weeks tomorrow and I'm having bad period cramps and keep feeling like I have to poop. I started timing them they were 16 mins apart and now 12. This happened the other night too and then nothing. Is it normal to have them one day and not the next? I've had like 7 now

They say to go in when its five minutes apart lasting a minute for at least an hour

I'd call the doc and see if you should go in. Some women don't have a bloody show and they have to have their water broke for them.

I only have like 10 in my.phone but they're averaging 7 mins 48 seconds apart and 40 seconds each time

That's happening to me tonight but I'm only 36 weeks today. I wouldn't say it's painful but it's definitely uncomfortable. I'm also extremely nauseous and I keep getting hot flashes then chills. I can't tell if it is pregnancy related and I should call l&d or if I'm maybe coming down with the flu

They're about 8 minutes apart now. Its 1130pmand this started at 8pm. At 10:04 was the last one that was 10 mins. Since then it's been 7-8 minutes

That happened to me with my first pregnancy. I felt like I had to poop and had contractions 5-10 mins apart then it'll change to 5-14 and later that night my water broke. So yes maybe you could prolly be starting.

Ugh they went from 8 to 10 to 8 to 15 to 8 I'm laying down though not moving too much

yes if they continue on as they are and happen when you change position then it would be fair to say that your probably in early labour :)

8 minutes now. No mucus plug or water breaking yet. After they stop I have to pee or at least try to. It's really painful but not too horrible yet

I'm 37 weeks & have the same thing happening. I have contractions all day & night, just starting to get period cramps & feeling tons if pressure down there every time I stand up. Plus baby keeps punching my bladder, causing sharp pains. My contractions are erratic & anywhere between 4-20 minutes apart & they don't hurt so it's just false labor. With no mucus plug or broken water I wouldn't worry unless they stay consistent & get more & more uncomfortable
