am i in early labour?

Hi, i am 35 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have been experiencing increased vaginal discharge and menstrul like cramping also pain in my back for about a little over a week now. Also sometimes when i stand up i get a sharp pain in my lower tummy just above my pelvis and it hurts really bad when it happens. I get a menstrul like ache in my pelvis too. So i would just like to know if anyone else has this happening to them and do you know if i am in early labour?

hmm thats weird. im not around anyone thats sick. im the only one with the soft stools and upset stomach. But i read and also asked a heath line nurse about it and she said that its because my body is getting ready for labour and my body is flushing my system and cleaning it by me having the soft stools.i dunno lol it dont really make sense to me cus its  not like my baby is coming out of my but, hahaaha!

It felt like my baby was coming out and it hurt but only for a couple seconds. Do you ever get that and if so do you know what it is?

i actually asked my doc about the loose stool thing and he asked me if i've been around anyone that's been sick.  i thought it was from so much pressure down there but he didn't.  and he also wouldn't check my cervix b/c i'm a c-section!

It just sounds to me like you are getting close but that can mean a matter of days or weeks. I am 37 weeks tomorrow and since I was about 34 weeks I have been having the same symptoms.... I have really bad heartburn also and as kennedy said if you can stand the taste of mylanta then it really does help, but for me I cant stand it.... You def. want your little one to stay in and cook a little longer. The longer they stay in the better they are. Best Wishes.

ok thanks for your help.i dunno i read that if you have upset stomach then that means your baby is getting ready for labour and the soft stool is cleaning your system out or somethin like that.

you can take something for the heartburn if you can stand the way it tastes...  i have some mylanta for emergencies in the fridge!  its not too bad when you keep it cold.

i'm really sorry you feel so bad right now!  i have upset stomach issues too (even when i'm not prego!) so i feel you there!

i hope you feel better and maybe call your doc about your back pains.  i've never felt that before.

umm the pain isnt in my hips its in my upper and lower back. Also i have other things like i pretty much lost my apetite and when i am hungry, I'll put the food in my mouth but i wont want to swallow it cus it makes me feel sick like im full and im forcing myself to eat.also after i eat my stomach gets really upset and it starts cramping then i go #2 and my stool is really soft but also every day almost all morning my stomach is upset and i have pains in my lower tummy and i go #2 quite a bit and thats been like that for over a week now
Also i have bad heartburn that increases at night and it seems like no matter what i do like drinking lots of liquid or laying on my side and resting or whatever else, it just wont go away and i hate it cus it burns in my throat and my chest really bad and its sooo anoying.

i think the sharp pain you feel when you stand up is your pelvic bone separating (making room for baby).  its hurts like hell!!!  i'm 37wks and some days i have increased discharge and then some days i don't have any at all.  i don't have any signs of labor so i don't think that would be a good indicator.  if the pains you feel are low and not all over your tummy then i would say they are probably BH contractions.  but if you're concerned i would call your doc.  i'm not sure about the back pain...  you can have back labor.  is it in your back or more your hips?
