well it is possible to  get  pregnant after  having a tubal  i know because it has happened to me twice once in 2008-09 and i delivered a healthy baby  girl  in  feb of 2009 and i am currently 9 wks due in Aug 2011 with my  second baby  after tubal ligation. My tubal was performed in correctly they think but there is nothing they  can  do to fix  besides a  full tube removal i am  jsut lucky that  both pregnancies have managed to  implant  in the right  spot.
If u think something is wrong then it never hurts to  go and ask ur doctor . I did home pregnacy test on myself and they never came up  postive but  low and behold everytime we  ran the blood work HCG  it was  really  postive (  first on  in jun of 08 was 3362 and  current one  i did at begining of nov was 4612)
