ok here is my situation last month on Dec 13th I took a home pregnancy test it came back positive got blood done and my Hcg levels came back as 36.97 meaning i could have only been about 1 or 2 weeks pregnant two days later i got my hcg levels checked and they dropped to a 34.36 on the 19th of dec i started having really bad back pain and started to bleed alot i went to the doc the next day and he told me if i was preggo it was a chemical pregnancy miscarriage. He gave me Femera again a fertility drug and told me to take it on days 21 threw 25 which i did but i bled for 10 days and my periods are usually 7 days long. Today is the 18th of Jan and i have been cramping in my stomach and my breast are extremely tender so i got a early result pregnancy test and it came back positive. My cycles are irregular but they are usually 36 days i should not start my period till the 24th of this month. oh and on the 20th of dec i got my hcg levels checked again and they were under a .2 so my question is am i pregnant or will the femera cause a positive pregnancy test result since it is a fertility drug. oh and i took a regular pregnancy test it came back neg yesterday so i got two different kinds of early result pregnancy test today and they both came back positive

one was the $1 regular HPT from the dollar store and the other two were early result pregnancy test from the dollar store again for $6.50 each. thank you all so much i called my doc today after i took the hpt he supposed to call me tomarrow to go get blood taking its going to be a long night lol i cant sleep to excited and nervous

Does Femara contain hCG? Does the warning label warn of false positives? If not I would assume you ovulated soon after your miscarriage and got pregnant. You cannot treat a miscarriage as a period and count the first day of bleeding as cycle day 1. It just doesn't work that way. So I think it is safe to say you got pregnant before you ever had a cycle after your miscarriage.

Get your levels checked tomorrow and see where they are at!

So you are saying your blood test from DEC was neg.? If that is the case then this is a whole new month and yes you could very well be pregnant, since today is the 19th almost 30 days past your last blood test. I would call your dr and let them know that you have gotten a positive and let them do blood work again and check and see if the levels are rising. What early test did you use, were they First Response or a blue dye test? Blue dye test are horrible for giving false positives I had 4 of them that were + and went in for blood work and neg. Also what was the brand of the regular one you took? I hope you are able to get the answers you are looking for and lots of sticky baby dust to you!

since your blood test came back at 2 then that would mean your not pregnant. I dont know why your home pregnancy test would show positive. maybe you used to much pee on it. I am so sorry for you loss. I had a chemical miscarraige in December. Just take it easy and continue to try to get pregnant.
