It's an ultrasound...I had mine at 19 weeks they just look at your baby's measurements and possibly the gender depends on the ultrasound tech
I've already had my gender told to me a few weeks ago..why must I do it again?
They measure the baby. And look at all the organs to make sure everything is where it should be and that there aren't any issues. They also look at the baby's brain to see if there are any abnormalities. Its a really important test.
They check all the measurements to make sure the baby is growing properly.
Oooh ok I understand now...All of that is done by ultrasound. ..ftm btw
Yup its a better machine that can see all that. Mine was really cool. When they showed me I saw my babies spine his stomach his bladder it was awesome.
They say I might be able to see her in 3d...have you done that yet ericatoday. .?..I hear it's really exciting to see but also weird at the same time..
I'll be doing the 3d/4d ultrasound next month when I'm around 25-26 weeks. I'm paying for it and getting a DVD to play at my baby shower. Its only 50$ here.
I've had a couple 3d images done, the first time my husband didn't like it, but the 2nd time he did (baby was bigger) and anytime he shows someone that picture they say baby looks exactly like him
I live in California. The place that does it has different packages the most expensive is 105$.
How long does it take to do the test..?
Ericatoday you don't have to pay out of pocket do you...your insurance should cover it..
No the 4d ultrasounds are something you have to pay for yourself because its an elective ultrasound.
How long to do what test? The anatomy or 4d? The anatomy took about 20-30 minutes and I'll get the same amount of time for my 4d
Yea I was curious about how long it would take for the anatomy to be done..what's the difference between the 3d and 4d
Sorry so many questions I'm just really curious and want to know all that I need to know
Its fine. I don't mind all the questions. You can message me anytime and I'll try to answer them. Idk they usually call them 3d/4d ultrasounds. I don't really think its different kinds.
My anatomy scan took almost two hours lol but that's because the ultrasound tech was trying to find out the sex of our son he was being stubborn so she made me get up and walk the halls in the hospital for a a bit...I get seen by military doctors where I'm stationed so it's probably different here
Thanks ericatoday and thanks to all the other ladies whom answered my questions. .I really appreciate it...more knowledge for me about my little princess
