Does anyone know of one that doesnt taste like chalk thats ok? Ive tried tums they didnt help, and i got maalox liquid and worst tasting medication ive ever had it tasted like i literly put chalk in my mouth. I have acid reflux so bad im puking:(

Drinking milk often makes the heartburn worse.. It feels good for that moment but the next day it will come back way worse. Milk is an acidic.

Zantac is safe it doesnt go into your blood stream.  I take one every day after breakfast and drink milk before bed. Try sleeping propped up.

Rolaids has chewy ones that are like eating candy but get the job done: ) might try those!

Pepcid isn't bad. What I'm on now is Previcid and thats a capsule

Talk to your doctor if it's that bad. They should be able to prescribe an antacid that's not a chewable tablet of chalk. In the meantime maybe try rolaids? The citrus flavor wasn't too bad...to me anyway. Good luck with your relief. Though they say, lot of heartburn, lot if hair.
