antibiotics causing vaginal to itch

Is it possible that the antibiotics I'm taking is the cause behind my itchy vaginal opening?

Did anyone else go through this?

Antibiotics are exactly what they are called, they get rid of bacteria (good or bad) and can lead to infections like UTI's or yeast infections like thrush, if you're experiencing a burning itchy sensation around the opening of your vagina along with dry vaginal discharge that looks like rolled up tissue paper around the folds, I'd say it's yeast, if it's burning when you pee, a funny smell or cloudy urine if say it's a UTI, both can be found in a normal urine test from your GP but yeast may take a swab to detect, if you're heavily pregnant try using a hand mirror or camera phone to check the symptoms around your opening
