I was on antibiotics at the beginning of my pregnancy and then only due to my sinusitis not getting any better did I find out that I was pregnant. I was so worried about potential side effects but I was on penicillin which is fine during pregnancy. Your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic which is then safe to take during pregnancy, there are numerous which are safe to use when pregnant.

Yes I took antibiotics several times throughout my pregnancy and even in my first trimester. I had a serious problem with vaginosis and then yeast infections because of the antibiotics. It was a vicious circle.

K-bug is a very healthy 9 month old now.

Many anti-biotics are safe to use during pregnancy. Just make sure your doctor knows you are pregnant and will keep that in mind when prescribing which anti-biotic you'll use. Take care.
