antibiotics while pregnant

Okay so im scheduled to get my tooth pulled in 2 weeks, my dentist prescribed me 2 weeks worth of antibiotics to take because the medicine that they usually use to numb a patient getting a tooth pulled is not good for the baby so they supplement that for antibiotics, I just wanted to know if any other mom evr took antibiotics while preg?? I guess because I'm a FTM I'm really nervous but I just don't want nothing to hurt my baby like I just need clarify...

I just had a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago. I was on antibiotics for about 2 weeks also. They know what you can and cannot take so I would think your fine. Also my dentist made my ob fax over what I could and couldn't take and what was safe for me to have done. We're only allowed to have novacane. No laughing gas or anything which ***** cause I'm terrified of having teeth pulled but it wasn't that bad and I feel a lot better now! Good luck!

They wouldn't give it to you if it weren't safe but you can always ask your dr
