subchorionic hemorrhage

I went to the er today because I woke up spotting light brown. They found I had blood around the babies sac (subchorionic hemorrhage) im freaking out. I went to my doctor and he acted as if it was nothing. Told me not to worry it will resolve on its own etc. I read a few articles and I'm so scared of have a mc as this my rainbow baby. Has anyone else dealt with this? I need some positive answers.

Hey ladies! Wanted to let you know I saw the specialist today. She saw what was likely some dry blood but no new blood. She said what often happens with hematomas is they turn in to a clot and then get reabsorbed. She also didn't seem concerned by it and said everything looks good. Hope that helps!!

Did they release you the size of it? (Like small or large) usually they are low risk of small, so I'm anxious to see what my scan says tomorrow!

I have/had a small hematoma. I had spotting at 6 weeks and went to the ER where they found it on the scan. The ER Doctor wasn't all too reassuring and told me it was a 50/50 chance that the pregnancy would end or the hematoma would resolve itself. I had spotting consistently from weeks 6-10 (13 weeks now). I went to my regular OB a week after the ER and She wasn't too concerned, she said the hematoma was so small she almost couldn't see it on the scan. Came back two weeks later and the same. I had a 13 week scan on Friday and the same. My doctor said she wasn't really concerned about it. BUT, for my piece of mind she is sending me to a prenatal specialist to get a better scan/look at it. I go Wednesday.. Overall, it wasn't that big of an issue but sure does cause worry!
