Statistically there is no real evidence that anything you do during prrgnancy leads to autism or ADHD. These diseases currently have no known cause. People like to try to link actions to these diseases because it gives them something to blame. Like Knufrio said, underdeveloped lungs are much more of a concern than the effects of the shot. Try not to worry.
I know it could be worse, but still... No one wants anything to go wrong with their child
So no signs of any problems? I know I'm probably just worrying myself more than necessary but I cant help it
They have not proven what causes ADHD and autism although there are several theories (genetics are thought to play a bigger role) so I wouldn't worry to much. Steroid shots are very common for preterm labor because babies lungs need to develop faster if there is the chance she'll be born early. There are far worse complications possible if she were to be born with underdeveloped lungs
I got them with my first and she is a perfectly happy healthy 3yr old.
