Bear in mind that the Shettles method is just that - a method, it's not a technique.    It doesn;t matter if you follow the diet or the sex positions / style to a "girl" or "boy" position, you still have a 50% chance of having either.    The only sure for way to ensure you get the sex you want is Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis, which is more common in America but costs upwards of $25,000 (it's illegal here in the UK unless there is a high risk of a genetic, gender-specific disease such as haemophilia).

It's interesting to note that the Shettles method claims that male sperm do not live as long as female sperm, although do move faster hence to "have a boy" you should have sex as close to ovulation as possible but if you have a girl you should have sex 4-5 days prior to ovulation.

This completely contradicts the Whelan method, which suggests that biochemical changes earlier on in your cycle favour boy-producing sperm. So if you want a boy, you should have sex four to six days before your basal body temperature goes up, or when your OPK says you are about to ovulate. If you want a girl you should have sex two to three days before you ovulate.      The Whelan method also suggests that male sperm lives longer than female sperm.................................

I also tried for a girl, I had BDed from the last day of my last period everyday up until 2 days before ovulation. I charted my cycles for 3 months. Shallow penetration, missionary, and no orgasm. Even did a little bit of the girl diet. I did the chinese gender predictor and it said girl. I'm 9 weeks and 4 days. I'm so ready to know if its a girl!
