appendectomy with high risk pregnancy

i am 9 weeks 2 days along.. I was born with a didelphic uterus.. which means i have 2 complete uteruses, 2 complete cervexis. I have been having horrible disrupting pain in my left side, by my left uterus. they have been able to do nothing but put me on pain medication. I am pregnant in my right one. So i had surgery 2 days ago because in my ultrasound they thought they seen a mass in my left uterus. So during the surgery they found no mass... but they did say i had apendicitis so they took out my appendix, they took out scar tissue... and took out a blood clot they found. They also said that my bowels were completely backed up. I have not been able to have a bowel movement lately.
After the surgery i have been taking laxitives and fiber medicine with no help of going. I have had 2 very small BMs. The pain on my left is still there... and now i am in pain because of the surgery. They made 3 small incisions.. and the one in my belly button it huting the most... its red and keeps leaking a clear fluid. I have had 3 previous misscarraiges also. I was just wondering about what i should be looking for after this surgery... how long the recovery is.. should i get my belly button looked at? how likely is miscarraige now that i had the surgery? what could the pain on my left side be? Thanks... any help would be grateful!!!!

Sorry about all the pain you are going thru. I was interested int his post because I also have uterine didelphis. Both uteri are about the same size, not too much smaller than having one. This abnormality was discovered when I had to have my left tube removed during ectopic. Left cervix is in the right place. My right however is a different story. The cervix is very close to the outside and very small opening in the wall of the vagina. After my ectopic I had IUI in the right uterus but when they would insert the sperm, most likely they got damaged because when the tubing was pulled out, it would be so bent.
But now I am pregnant with twins after FET on the left and all is going well. I am at 31wks 4days and now there may be some space limitation for the babies.
Curious to find out- Are your cervix side by side? And are both uteri about the same size?

As far as the appendectomy goes, you should feel pretty much back to normal after 2 weeks or less.....esp. being it sounds like it was laprascopic.  The small incision leaking clear fluid isn't really a reason for concern.....however, keep an eye on it, if the redness increases then you should contact your Dr.....or if the drainage coming from the incision site becomes white/yellow or has a foul odor.  The pain that you are having may be from the gas that they put into you before surgery (to get a better view of everything in your abdomen)......That may hurt for a few days and often radiates up into your shoulders.....So if you experience shoulder pain, don't fret.
As far as surgery affecting your pregnancy, I'm not really sure....but they do alot of surgeries on pregnant women on Discovery Health!!  Did you ask you Dr. that question?  I'm sure that if there were any significant risks to the pregnancy, that they would have let you know.....Hope everything goes well for you!  Lots of luck!
