diapers

Today I finally bought two packs of diapers! Now they are sitting in my living room and it has started to sink in that I am going to be a mommy. We have to move before baby comes so I guess they will be staying in the living room for now lol. Anyways I had two free bags of newborn pampers mailed to me 36 in a pack. Today I bought a bag of 40 huggies in size 1 and a box of 108 pampers in size 1. How many boxes of sizes should I get? I don't want to buy too many of the wrong size. Also is it better to buy a good amount of diffrent brabds or stick to one brand? Any adive is welcome. Thanks ladies!

Every baby is different. My daughter can only use huggies diapers or she breaks out. My friend can only use pampers or she breaks out. I would suggest buying a couple different brands of diapers, in the smaller packs so it's lest money, to see what works for your baby first. As far as how much of one size, when I found a good.diaper.for.her I bought at least three jumbo sized diapers of sizes 1~4 and still needed to buy more  :-) especially size newborn and size one since they need to be changed more often. I recommend if its a girl stay with pampers.  with my experiences with my daughter and my friends girls.  yeast infections happen most likely with huggies.

Also if you're buying them from Walmart you can take unopened cases back and exchange for the right size if you end up with too many (:

I would say stick to one brand. With my first all I used were pampers swaddlers from birth until she was Portugal trained. Whenever I would switch she would break out or the other diapers didn't hold the pee smell very well. The pampered always smelled good!!
