I didn't know where to post. I got my tubes tied 2 years and 11 months ago....

I got my tubes done almost 3 years ago, a month after my son was born. They clamped my tubes is what they said. I was 22 when I got this done, and I was wanting to know what the chances of having it fail and me getting pregnant was. I really would like to have another one now, and I know it will probably not happen but would like to know what the chances of it happening are.

The chances of becoming pregnant after a tubal are low.  There is always a small chance that the clamp will come undone but not likely as it is supposed to be permanent.   You could always talk to your Dr about haivng a reversal but it doesn't always work.      If you want more children you could consider adoption.

The chances of it failing are pretty much none.  There is hope. Since they only clamped them you can have the clamps removed.  In my case myne were cut and tied but I had a successful reversal 12 years later and was pregnant within 90 days.  It was costly but in your situation it may be alot cheaper to have the clamps removed.

Good luck.
