naming my daughter after her sisiter???

I need your guys opinion I unfortunately was pregnant and it was a girl. I have always loved the name isabela so I that's that I named her my baby though passed away when I was 6 months pregnant. A stillbirth:( Well I am again pregnant with another girl and I wanted to name her like my other baby in her honor but half of family is saying it is wrong to name her the same as my other baby. Do you guys think it is wrong to name my baby like her sister???????

Thank you so much to all of you!:) and I don't see it as replacing my angel she will always have her spot and nobody will ever replace her. Imfinallypregnant I am sorry for your loss as Well it is a very sad and horrific experience to go through:'( you can understand me and to the rest of you mommies you are all very lucky and I hope you never know and experience this feeling. And my husband and I have been talking and I think we will end up naming my baby nalleli isabella: )

First of all, sorry for your loss. You have an angel with you at all times. And second, I never heard of naming your baby now.. To be a bad thing.... If you name then after your stillborn. Name them whatever you want, but... Ideally, I would give the honor as a middle name. It'll mean more. And of anything, you can always call her by her middle name..

:)

Maybe not her first name but as a middle name to honor her would be sweet in my opinion.

I also had a stillborn baby at 6 months at the beggining i was planning that if it was a boy i would name him the same name as my angel but then i felt like i dont want to replace him with this baby i know hes not with me but i dont feel is right for me to do that so i decided to go with a different name if its also a boy but thats just me.. I hope you dont get offended.. you do what you feel i am only saying this because i have a similar situation not saying is not right for naming your babies the same.. You could also choose a first name and use isabella as a middle name..

Name your baby what you want.  I'm a big fan of historical cemeteries,  and I have to say,  parents named their babies the same name after a stillbirth.  You do what you want to do. Whatever feels right.

I think  if you really  want  to  that's  okay. But only if you're  doing  it in honor  of her not because  you've  fallen in love  with  the  name. I suggest  maybe using  it as a middle  name :) so sorry  for  your loss!  Best  of  luck!

I wouldn't name her after your other baby,  specially since you we're so far along in that pregnancy. I feel that is yalls Angel now and sister needs a different name :) hope this helps a little
