I have. Drink lots of water and rey cranberry juice. Ask your doctor about cranberry pills. Stay away from soda and caffeine. Always go to the bathroom right away, don't hold it

Yep. I just found out I have one and just got antibiotics, today. The pain has been brutal over the past couple of weeks, but I was sure my urine was clean because I had it checked about 3 weeks ago and doc put me on Macrobid. Today she put me on Keflex, which I guess is more narrow spectrum for E. Coli. I hate utis! They are very debilitating for me. Anyway, take care.

I had a UTI when I was 28 weeks and it turned into a kidney infection and caused the baby's heart rate to go down. Nothing to mess with especially when pregnant. Hope you get it taken care of and yes they check it through your urine and when hospitalized fir it they check it every time you pee to make sure its clearing up and its not cloudy or dark in color as well

When I went to the doctor on the 27th she checked my urine and did not say anything, went to the ER last night (30th) and they said I had one so I am guessing it doesn't which I always thought that's  why they checked your urine. I know they check it with the strip but when you actually go for bloodwork and so forth that look at it under a microscope.
Doc said last night that UTI'S can be dangerous to the baby so hoping what they gave me last night and the pills I have now wipe it out.
