I use all free and clear prior to pregnancy and stuck with it once Ellie arrived she is doing fine with it :)
I have always used All Free and Clear because my skin is pretty sensitive to certain detergents so that's what I have used for baby clothes. Never had a problem with my kids.
with my oldest i used regular (what we used) detergent. with baby 2 i use dreft. and now with baby 3 on the way i will use it also. i actually use the dreft on all my clothes now. love the smell.
hey wool bales are great for fabric softner as is bakibg soda and or borax all with no dyes etc..
diaper swappers has the wool balls on the WAHM section
I use Purex baby soft....its not perfume free because it has the mos amazing scent but my little guy has sensitive skin and it seems to work well for him
I've used baby detergents and I've used ALL Free & Clear with no difference. By one year baby can use regular family detergents but as a newborn their brand new skin is so very sensitive and can break out just by laying against your shirt or your skin (if you have perfume on).
I personally love the smell of baby detergents.
I just use any "free" detergent like All Free and Clear. The at about 1 yr I start using what I use for everyone else
i started using dreft but then i switched the family over to anythign that was free and clear ( tide all purex) didnt matter we all have sensitive skin and i never had issues using those products we have even used tide reg det. also and that seems to be ok but got in the habit of using the free and clear :)
Extreme eczema plagues my husband, so we have always used only dye free, perfume free etc. I have one child with him that inherited the eczema and he did okay with that dye free brands. Oh and since I see dryer sheets being talked about we only use the "free" dryer sheets too.
From the start I used ALL free and clear or TIDE free and clear (or whatever it's called) - but that's what I already used for my husband's and my clothes because my husband's skin is sensitive, too. I did NOT use dryer sheets for my baby's clothes, though for a while - until I discovered that they also make those in the dye/perfume free kind so then I started using them. I've never noticed a problem. Now all of our clothes get washed and dried together with the free/clear products. I will do the same with my next baby (due in June), too.
My oldest daughters skin was so sensitive when she was a baby that we could only use one brand of diapers and wipes. If we didn't she'd get a diaper rash so bad she would bleed. Even with that sensitive of skin she never had a problem with regular tide detergent.
I have been using the baby magic brand...it's a little cheaper than dreft. I use it for about 6 months or so then I switch to what everyone else uses. However this time I'm not sure it matters since I just switched the family detergent to all free and clear due to my daughters allergies.
I have always used purex or tide both in liquid form.
when my daughter was born 5+ yrs ago, I always used just regular detergent. She is a white haired FAIR skin child, who is very sensitive. I never had ANY trouble with regular detergent.
I plan to use just regular stuff this time around, unless There are any problems....
I use comfort concentrate, lol only because it's all my bf will let me use on the babies clothes lol xx
I've always used Dreft until they're a year old then I see how they do with the regular detergent we all use.
