No but I know the feeling cause I don't want to push out a 10lb baby either lol. The weight is just an estimate. We'll be fine with these big boys :)
Oh my if my son gains a 1/2 lb for the next 5 wks he's gonna be huge lol my Dr is already planning on inducing at 39wks Because of my diabetes. . So I shouldn't worry then ?
@hab63380 I'm 36 weeks. My insurance does not cover an ultrasound in the third trimester so my baby's weight was estimated last week by vaginal hand exam and he's supposedly 6.5 lbs. Doc says he'll gain half a pound to three fourths a pound each week so he should be 7lbs by now. Doc says he's willing to induce by 39 weeks.
Mine has been in position since 27 weeks and has been measuring ahead since 30. Im not sure if its the lower they are But I think so cause she has already dropped and when I went to my 37wk check up she measured 40wks
I'm 34 wks .. and prego_19 do they measure bigger if lower ? Or how that work ? He's in position has been since 32wks I constantly feel like his head is trying to nestle into my vagina lol
I have gestational diabetes so I'm scared hel b huge ! My first was 8lbs 4oz I'm hoping this one's not much bigger lol .. happybaby2015 how many weeks r u what's ur Little one weigh at this point did ur dr say if they was gonna try to induce ? ? Dr says mines 6 lbs now ..
I was told my daughter measures 3 weeks ahead. And with my last he was always measuring 1-2 weeks ahead and he weighted 7lbs 10oz. But with my first he measured on track every week and turned out to be 9lbs 1oz so I dont think it means ur baby is going to be big. My doctor told me it could depend on how low baby is and the positioning and how baby is measured.
That's not far off. I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead so my baby is about a pound off from average.
It just means you're gonna have a big baby :P
