when to go on maternity leave

Hi im due 18th march. Whens the best time to go on maternity leave. My job is stressful and im on my feet all of the shift x

Im 13 weeks this week and finding it very hard now getting back ache alot. Might have a chat with manger soon x

At my job u only get 12 weeks fmla u pay your self with pto then u dont get paid dr excuses 6 weeks off so if u take off early it has to be written by dr im almost 31 weeks and was told by hr I need to work until I have him unless dr takes me off work so good luck

**also, take it when you need to! Your doctor might even give you a bed rest order. This baby is more important than any job. :)

It depends on your company as to how long you get off. I only get 6 weeks (8 weeks for c section) of paid leave, so I'm planning on working up until he comes to maximize my time with him. But I also work a desk job and can work from home as needed. I can take up to 12 weeks off, the rest unpaid.
