what did your dr do?

Hey ladies, I was wondering what your doctors did when you told them that you lost your mucous plug and how far along you were?
My doctor usually doesn't spend very much time with me so I just want to make sure that I don't get blown off and he does what any doctor would do.

When do they check to see if you are dilated

Yeah theres not much doctors do when you lost your mucous plug. It's just basically means that your cervix is starting to open & you' might go into delivery within the next 2-3 wks

My doctor usually never does anything but listens to the heartbeat. But I will only be 35 weeks at my next appointment and I've been having cramps all over my stomache. I hope he checks something and takes it seriously

I'm not sure what they are supposed to do but I was having the same thing. I even had a large piece in the pee cup they make u do. Anyways the only thing my doctor did was so ok. She did nothing special and didn't give me any helpful information. I would suggest you ask lots of questions and make sure its normal for you. I'm just assuming my doctor doesn't think its serious.
