stool softner?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and today my doctor prescribed me Zofran for my nausea and vomiting but now I am constipated. She said I could take stool softner for it, however, I don't know what brand is safe to use? Any recommendations??

I have no clue but i will be watching your post because i am dying to know. I always freeze up at my appts so i forget to ask questions but you can always ask a pharmasist to help you. It might be different throughout the stages of pregnancy depending on how far you are.

My doc told me to use Colace, anything that says docusate sodium is safe. Preferably softeners without the stimulants.

Metamucil is wonderful. Take about a day to work but once it does, man,  talk about relief! Drinks tons of water. Prunes or prune juice works too.
