Pulled pork sandwhiches, chips, veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese and crackers, fruit salad, etc... pretty much anything can work...

My baby shower had pulled pork sandwiches, little smokies, potatoe salad, chips, fruits, and veggies with a few varieties of drinks... I can't remember what else was there other than the cake lol

For My baby shower my mom made chicken chili!!

Reading all the comments made me so hungry!! I had potato soup shrimp cocktails Mozeralla and tomatoes on a stick and french lamb and red potatoes with herbs. I also had a large desert table with a 3 tier cake and cupcakes and hot chocolate champagne wine pink lemonade and water. It wasn't your typical baby shower to be honest it was very fancy and over the top but everyone loved it.

I would say it depends on how many people.  If it's just family I'd make dinner or a lunch especially if it's only a handful of people.  If it's family friends with their kids and significant others (a lot of people) then finger foods.  Chips sandwiches fruit vegies maybe hotdogs or hamburgers.

I just had mine the other day and we had chocolate covered strawberries,  meat trays, cheese and cracker trays, fruit trays, cake, cupcakes,  cookie tray, and sandwiches.  I just did whatever I was craving, tbh.
