baby shower

I send my baby shower invitations threw email to all my friends.  But there yet I feel that people are not going to take my shower seriously. Should I send my family and friends hand written Invitations? Or should I just wait and see what happens?

I sent most of mine thru facebook and gave the older women a mailed invite. But only 3 people actually RSVP...so we didn't have a clue who was coming!! Although everyone didn't show it was still a nice turn out. . I guess now of days people don't take the rsvp seriously

Not a single person responded to my RSVP's even the invites sent by mail. I had to personally call everyonr multiple times and in the end only 15 people showed when 25 RSVP'd. Everyone's schedule is different so have one that lasts from like 12-5 so people can come when they're able to :) hopefully you have a good turn out. Best thing at my party was the raffles i did i had prizes for games and I also had really cool gift bags. I put soooo much work into my shower. In my opinion keep it simple it's much less stressful. Or have a friend plan it :p good luck!

I would have sent invitations in the mail but that is just me. If you sent emails to everyone that you wanted to invite and it looks nice, then I wouldn't worry. If you don't start hearing from people, I would call or email them as the shower gets closer.
