Braxton's or labour??

Hey ladies I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and for the last hour or so I've had strong tummy cramps and back cramps, they last about a minute and have been coming every 5-10 minutes.  They are quite painful also I have been bleeding a little -wearing a pad at the moment.  I have. Also had a bit of diarrhea tonight also. Was wondering if I should contact midwife soon or leave it until waters maybe break as can't remember the pain with my first!! Thanks ladies...

It definitely sounds like something you should go to labor and delivery for. Usually braxton hicks arent very strong and usually they do not come in patterns. Just call the OB office and see what they want u to do (:

Some women water doesn't break till the baby is being pushed out. I hope u don't cut it too close good luck though. I would personally head to the hospital with your contractions being that close.
