Alternate between heat and ice. Heat feels nice but ice will help if there's any swelling or inflammation on your hips. I've had a ton of back and hip pain this whole pregnancy too and sleep just doesn't happen anymore.. Even with pillows. Good luck!

I'm 28w5d and I haven't slept in weeks due to back pain & my hips hurting. I try pillows, but they only help for a while. At least you're almost done! :)

I use a heating pad for my back and sleep sitting up for my hips. The heating pad makes a world of difference for me.

Pillows!! Or a wedge. I slept with a wedge in my last trimester before. The chiropractor helped me a lot too. My hips would always become out of line.
I think those pregnancy belts help too...not sure for at night but they take the pressure off your back from your belly!

Very very normal. Im only 28 wks and i haven't slept since 16 weeks my back and hips ache so much especially at night! Theres not really anything u can do except use lots and lots of pillows! You're so close to being done just hang in there. Try drinking sleepy time tea to relax at night :-) good luck mama.
