bacterial vaginosis

I was diagnosed with BV when I went to my first appointment on march 10th. I took the medication and it still hasnt cleared up at all. I don't have any refills left. But I was wondering if it didn't go away for any other moms and if it resulted in miscarriage for them. I'm really nervous about miscarrying because of this...

My OB told me I might have it at 24 weeks. Now I'm 28 weeks still no treatment.  I hear that it can continue to come back. If you arent at risk bb for preterm labor you will more than likely be just fine.

I was diagnosed with BV at my very first appointment also. But my doctor said she wouldn't treat me until 13 weeks.. I was 6 weeks at the time.. she finally prescribed me something at 15 weeks but I never picked up the prescription because the symptoms stopped, and since ive been little ive been getting them, since im so sensitive down there, soaps and things irritate me. Im now 17 weeks amd baby is fine.. the vagina usually treats itself after awhile. Just use mild soaps and avoid sexual activity until your symptoms clear

I was in your same situation, you might have a yeast infection now from the meds but exsperiencing the same symptoms of bv , the antibiotics cause yeast infection, so you need to tell your doc your concerns and abt the discharge let them check you and see what's up,  meanwhile keep your under parts clean with water and wear panty liners !
