Has anyone else had this ? Can it be harmful to the baby?

Idk my doctor made it very clear to me not to worry about it unless I was experiencing symptoms so I don't think they'd do that unless there really wasn't anything to be seriously concerned about they never once mentioned miscarriage or preterm labor so I'm assuming those happen if symptoms occur and no treatment is sought out

Yes, but I didn't have any symptoms. They just gave me a cream to use every night for a week. They said it could possibly cause preterm labor if left untreated.

Colored discharge usually greenish and bad odor are the two main symptoms the doctor told me to look for...they told be unless your having symptoms its not really anything to worry about its just a build up of bacteria in the vagina and unless symptoms occur there's no reason to treat it because its not technically acting up

I had a abnormal pap smear n May i had another doc appt and i went and they my doc.has  cancled the appt if it was serious u think they would wait 2 months? I switch doctors..was that a good idea im 17weeks&5days

They gave me some vag cream

I had it and Iy could cause a miscarriage in.early pregnancy or preterm labor depending on how far you are. I had yo take these pills that dissolved as soon as they hit my tongue. It's was the worst.

@a_love what are the symptoms?  My dr never told me and idomt have any burning or itching or anything

Yes and my doctor told me unless I have symptoms there's no reason to treat it..so unless you have the symptoms then you should be fine as well..I have a healthy baby and no had any problems

Yea ijust got the medicine its some cream once day for 5days

Yes and yes. It can cause miscarriage if not treated. I was given medicine to take 2 times a day for 5 days.
