My baby is 6 weeks old today and just last night she started rolling over on her side to sleep and when she does her face smashes against the bassinet mesh I was shocked and scared when I saw her. My baby is very active she holds her head up for 30-45 seconds during tummy time she lifts her head up while laying on her back. She's always rolled on her sides even at 2 days old and I used to put rolled up burp cloths on each side of her but now she'll kick it or push it away and no matter how good I swaddle her she escapes but wont sleep unless swaddled...I am scared for her safety I even considered bed sharing but got too scared of her pushing herself away And suffocating herself on me but the one time I did it slept for a long time finally

I bed share, don't see anything wrong with that. I did it with my first baby and now wih my second. My baby never wants me to put her down at night. If I did, I would never get sleep.

Your baby is going to sleep  how she wants to. You can't force her to sleep  on her back.  My daughter  has been sleeping  on her belly since she was 3-4 weeks  old.  That's how she wants to sleep. Wouldn't sleep  any other way.  Her pediatrician  said it was perfectly  fine for her to sleep on her tummy.

Put a swimming pool noodle under the sheets, she won't be able to push it away
