May i ask u ladies why u were put on bedrest??
Go to crochetpatterncentral.com. They teach you basic techniques and very easy patterns and stuff.
I'd be enjoying it, is this your first pregnancy? I was SO anxious with my first pregnancy, and regret it so bad!! I was so in a rush to meet my little guy, I didn't enjoy it at all, and then the lack of sleep immediately after for the first few months, and no leaving the house, it's overwhelming and a lot to take in, make sure you enjoy every minute of it, even stuck to the bed! I was put on bedrest for 2 weeks at 15 weeks with my son, and my husband bought me a nintendo and mario games to play, haha! I'd lovee to have to sit in bed all day now, but I have a 3 year old, so it wouldn't be so easy!
Thank you so much ladies this shouldn't be too bad I guess(:
You can buy a book I taught myself to knit or crochet, at any craft store, that's how I learned! It comes with a book to teach you, and the basics of getting started like needles. Pretty fun!
I want to try that too now! I wanna make my little guy a hat(:
I was going to suggest knitting or crochet. Looks like someone already had my bright idea though. Lol. Crochet is very easy to learn how to do and it is extremely easy to crochet baby blankets. Baby hats are also very easy.
Thanks ladies! I love the ideas I'm going to try and do the letter painting craft that sounds super cute. This just seems like its goin to be a super long five weeks. Especially since I got cut off from everything so quickly. I was working and going everywhere one day and the Next day I am stuck ina hospital...hoping for the best
Rent dvds, make a journal for baby and write in it every day, take up scrapbooking, pinterest(LOL), read, write a list of things you need for baby still, write lists for your baby bag and hospital bag, take up a new hobby that you can do in bed...
Crafts? I've found doing crafts is really passing my down time! (Although I'm not on bedrest) I bought wooden letters and painted them to match her bedding, and a memory box and painted it, stuff like that. Also I learned how to knit and have been knitting her a blanket, passes quite a bit of time!
At the moment we have antenna tv lol I wish we had cable haha its driving me nuts having five channels..that was the only good thing about being in the hospital was that they had quite a few channels
You can also find children books to read to baby :)...catch up on some shoes you missed....walk around the house a little bit...online shopping
That's a good idea. I've never been much of a reader but I can read books about pregnancy and baby like its nothing
If I was put on bedrest I most likely would be spending my time reading.
