nipple piercing &breast feeding
Has anyone had or know of somebody who has their nipples pierced and breast fed. I'm afraid to Google things anymore. I tend to over-reasurch and freak myself out.
I had mine done. I took it out the day I foubd out I was pregnant with my daughter. they closed up but when I tried to breast feed I couldn't. doctor told me the piercing went through my ducts so it blocked it so no milk would cone through cause once it closed it added more skin. it really sucked. I tried again with my son a few years later the same thing. I'm not even going to bother with this one
I had mine done and didn't have any intention of taking them out but I took them out the day I went to the hospital just so they wouldn't get in the way. Then I forgot to put them back in and they closed. I was super bummed but **** happens.
I heard about 2 people they took the piercings out when they knew they were pregnant so they could heal!! One took them out at 6 months and had a little hard of a time nursing. Hope that helps!
