belly aches? heating pads? swollen ankles??

i dont have cramps per-say i mean every once in a while i get little tight twinges but my stomach started aching dismorning...not like stomach  ache like i need to potty or puke but the whole thing actually aches like annoying heavy pain under my boobs and on my sides and its kinda burny in the middle. it doesnt hurt so bad that i would consider havting to go to the doctors but it is bothersome...is this normal? can i take like alieve for it or something or like tylonel? im allergic to ibuprofren. are heating pads bad for the baby? will it make the "oven" too hot lol? i also have swollen ankles...i thought that wasnt supposed to happen until like the 3rd trimester?? im only 5 weeks!! and theyre deffinitly swollen as well as my lower calf and feet...is this bad? ive been drinking a lot of water and trying to keep my feet up when i can!

I agree with Nickie. Tylenol is all you can take (Aleve is definitely on the do-not-take list). And a heating pad on your back is okay, but never on your stomach.

And for swollen ankles, definitely something you should mention at your doctor appointment. Avoid processed foods/salty foods and drink only water.

The only thing you can take is tylenol and a heating pad is definitely a no no. You could always use something like icey hot on your bbs if they are hurting and may relieve some pain. They are pretty normal growing pains. As for the swollen ankles I would drink lots of water and watch your salt intake. Good luck!
