I'm on the Depo-Provera Shot. And i love it you get a shot in your arm every 11-12 weeks. Ive bee on it for 5 months now and the only side effects i have is weight loss even though it doesnt say that on the info you get with the shot. And i never got pregnant yet.
And with my first pregnancy i was on the pill took every day at the same time and i got pregnant. With my second (my human i were trying for another baby)
I could never remember the pill and I gained 40lbs on the shot. The patch irritated my skin. The 5 year iud made me bleed like a stuck pig but the 10 year one is supposed to slow if not stop your period. I will be getting the 10 year iud this time. Nothing to remember :)
**depo not deposit,darn you auto correcy (;
I tried an iud but my body rejected that so had to get it removed, also tried the deposit but started losing clumps of hair:( I would run my fingers through my hair and would have a handful,I cried and cried, such a nightmare. I also got pregnant on the pill first time around after 5 years of religiously taking it. It worked for me though because I could remember to take it everyday and didn't cause any unwanted side effects. I have never tried the arm implant because that just freaks me out. Just remember that no birth control is %100 effective!
I was on the depo shot and will be going back on it when my baby is here. I had no side affects that I noticed but all women are diff on diff bc. Some gain weight. It all depends on your body.
Well I had my daughter in may 2014. I was breastfeeding and they put me on the pill. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. Haha I got pregnant with my first on the pill and now my second ( took it on time and religiously!) I'm curious about this question as well:) seeming how the pill was a big no no on my end
