You can make an appt with your OB/GYN concerning your irregular periods. If you tell them that you are ttc they can give you a pregnancy test and if it is confirmed that you are not pregnant, they can give you Provera to induce your period. I let my periods go two months without having one before calling in for Provera. After the second dose I had my body began trying to sort itself out and I ended up ovulating on my own in February before starting Clomid in March. It's not guaranteed to help induce ovulation, but it does trigger a period which can sometimes help you to ovulate.
Yea. I guess I've just been feeling pregnant and have had my period in 3 months but I'm still getting neg. Idk he just said it bc of how my tummy feels.
No, because Depo Provera only suppresses ovulation. False negatives are produced when a woman tests for pregnancy before the embryo has had the proper amount of time to implant into the uterus and begin producing hcg. With this pregnancy I tested on a monday and got a negative, then I tested on a wednesday and got all positives. The negative test was only because I tested too early. If your period is late and you are getting negatives it could be because you do not have enough hcg in your urine if you are pregnant. However, there are several reasons to have a late period or skip it altogether. I know when I came off of birth control my cycles were very erratic for 8 months before I quit ovulating completely. Good Luck!
I've asked my doctor this before, when I was taking the depo shot...no, it cannot. the hormones are completely different and do not affect either positively or negatively any of the normal pregnancy tests.
