Hi I am about 5wks and 5days pregnant but I've been bleeding since Dec.1 its now the 3rd its to light to be like a period bt to heavy to b spotting I when to my first doctors appt. yesterday  bt the didn't do a scan or a blood test bt they got a faint positive on pg test and they told me u had to wait till my next appt. for blood test and a scan  and I told them about the bleeding and they told me to go to the er but I can't till after 6pm today I'm not having any cramping,or clots my back hurts and I haven't filled up a pad it only comes out a lot when I pee and its a dark red and light red color. Can anyone tell me what might be goin on so I can prepare myself for what the doctor is goin to say? And if you have experienced the same thing and had a healthy pregnancy

The same thing happened to me when I was between 8-9 weeks.I noticed that the bleeding only happened after I had sex. I informed my doctor about it and she said that it was fine as long as it wasn't not a period, but you should still go to the ER just to be on the safe side.
