birth control ?

So my doc put me on Lo Loestrin Fe ....anyone else ever take this? Or have bad side effects?


I a little nervous cuz I've never takin birth control b4. I don't want to not be able to loose the rest of this weight. Plus I feel our family is complete now with 3 girls and our boy but dont feel comfortable doing anything permanent.

Well I def don't want bad mood swings!! Ha** my hubby would love that, I'm sure! :-)
And def don't need to increase a bra size! I've got big bessies already!! ;-)
I start my first cycle Sunday, so we will see how I do! Thanks to all who replied!!

It made my periods shorter and lighter and I actually went up a bra size while on it but after a year and a half my periods became heavy n painful again my Dr sed it was bc my body got used to it n I needed a different bc..but I lovedd it during the time it worked

I took Loestrin for a very short time, before I began to have very bad mood :swings. I didn't feel like myself at all, it got so bad my parents wanted me to see a psychiatrist. My gyn changed my pill &' within a week I was fine

I'm pretty good at taking pills and after talking with my doc, decided pills are the best option for me. I def don't want to be putting any thing "in", getting a shot, or messing with a patch! ;-) maybe down the road , my hubby n I have talked abt him having surgery!! I've had four c-sections so he can have one little out-patient surgery!! Lol

yeah not everyone is .. after I have my little girl im going to get the IUD merina 5 year put in.. I dont want another kid for atleast a few years so I figure its a good option. If I want one before the 5 year I can just get it removed. Then I dont have to worry about taking a pill, getting anything surgercally removed from my arm when im ready, gaining weight from the shot or popping in a nuva ring in and out every month

Thank you...I've been researching other options besides taking a pill, but I'm just not comfortable with them..:-)

everyones body reacts differently to different birth controls .. not  to scare u but i know a few people who cant take any BC with hormones in it because they just bleed or their body rejects it. myself on the otherhand i was on the pill for 5 years and the only side effects I had was my period became shorter and less heavy (thank god) before BC i had my period for 7-8 days straight with heavy bleeding and clotting   so the pill worked for me and helped a lot

so youll never really know how your bodys going to react until you actually take it.. if your body doesnt like it and it doesnt work for you theres plenty of other things that you can try

I took it for a couple of months, didnt get any side effect... Didnt gain a pound!!
