bleeding after baby/period?

I know with Elijah I bled for like six weeks, and a couple weeks later I got my period back..BUT with Aubryana I'm exclusively breast feeding, and it's been four weeks two days since I had her. I kinda stopped bleeding, it didn't go away completely but it did slow down to almost nothing, and it's been slowly coming back...it's on and off some days almost nothing, others more, never enough to fill a pad, maybe half a pad the whole day...not like in the beginning. Anyone else bleed on and off like this? With Elijah it was just like a heavy period that lasted six weeks and then slowed and stopped.

I never had heavier bleeding with my first, it just slowly started to go away. I did have one clot that caused a lot of bleeding the fourth day after I had him though. He was delivered by c-section, but I delivered Aubryana vaginally.

my doc told me that when the bleeding comes heavy agian, you're over-exerting yourself, but, again, I had a c-section

It was almost GONE. I mean I had one pad on ALL DAY and I didn't have jack on it...now it's starting back up...this s*cks!!! I hope I don't get my period for a long time since I'm breast feeding, lol...with Elijah I bled six weeks straight, stopped and two or three weeks later got my period again.

I bled for two weeks, then randomly would bleed on and off until about 6wks post-partum..at one point bleeding as heavily as I did after delivery for about 6 days. After Kahlan I bled for 6wks straight, lol.

I guess it's still just from having her then...I didn't have many clots in the beginning, but now I have a bunch of little ones...

i bled off and on. i think i stopped bleeding at about 3 weeks and then started again.. then stopped, got mirena, and it began again for a few weeks. its perfectly normal. i used tampons (even though they say not to for 6 weeks) because i was tired of it being so unpredictable!!

I had that for around 5 weeks after I had Kylie. Like I would bleed really bad and then stop, spot slightly and then it would come back heavy again. It drove me mental because I never knew what it was going to do and I ruined tons of clothes. Finally around 6 weeks it fully tapered off and I had a few instances of pink tinged discharge and that was it.
