bleeding at 9 weeks?

This is my first pregnancy and I have been dealing with just about all the symptoms it seems. Today while at work I started bleeding and it freaked me out! The last thing I ever want to see is blood coming from me while I'm pregnant. It had no clumping or pain along with it and it only happened once but it was a lot! The blood was bright red. Is this normal or is it something I should be concerned about? I have an appointment with my doctor this afternoon to ask as well but I just want to know what y'all think.

Just take it. Really easy if you can be in bed til your appt.

I actually just had that at 7 weeks!  I had an ultra sound and blood work and everything is fine. They tell me in at risk for miscarriage n to take it easy! :) yout baby be ok!
