join the club i have been bleeding for 2 weeks now as well and we are ttc my gp tried to stop it but it didn't work, she is going to send me to a gyn if it doesn't stop i had ultrasounds and everything done and she said that some women are like that,
It depends on the severity of the PCOS and whether or not it's caused you to stop ovulating. I'm currently taking Metformin to correct the hormonal issues (which would then correct the cystic ovaries). And I'm currently taking Clomid in order to conceive.
Let's just say I didn't have PCOS until after my youngest daughter was born. I got pregnant with my first within 2 months; pregnant with my second by the time my first was 9 months old (miscarried), and it took one month to conceive my youngest.
I'm currently in my 7th month of actively TTC. So you can see that it has made it more difficult for me to conceive. But NOT impossible!
Thanx for the info, I am making an appointment tomorrow to see a doctor, hopefully she can tell me whats happening. Is it harder to conceive with PCOS?
This happened to me a couple of times. I was diagnosed with PCOS. You may want to see your doctor and see if there is an underlying problem. If there is a prob you'll be able to address it and TTC will go much more smoothly!
