bleeding in pregnancy
im 15 weks pregnant with my 3rd child and ive been getting the odd bit of bleeding im concerned about this as i didnt have it with my boys has any other mum or mum to be had this ?? the thing im most scared of is losing my baby as i have decided this is my last this pregnancy has really hit hard with bad sickness and extreme tiredness some mornings i wake up and i dont feel pregnant anymore and it scares me. the midwife says its normal to have bleeding maybe its cause i had my last child in aug 08 and i havent recovered from that yet ?

well everyone recovers differently but you should be fairly recovered by now if your last birth was in mid '08. my daughter was born in september '08 and I'm now 33wks and it was a LITTLE too close together for my body but I had a very difficult recovery from labor due to blood loss. I suppose it's possible, but have you had an ultrasound to rule out something like hematoma or subchorionic hemmorhaging? I would ask for an ultrasound if I were you. It's also possible you have an easily irritated cervix. I bled at 7wks and 12wks with this pregnancy due to an infection that made my cervix easily irritated, but it was only spotting and stopped as soon as it started. I mean if the baby's heartbeat is strong on a dopplar and you're not getting any pain it's probably absolutely fine, but I would still be aggressive with my midwife and ask for some tests to be run just to be on the safe side, if I were you. thanks you for your kind comments, i went to see my midwife and told her i was concerned she has refered me back to my gynacologist, i had 2 loop biopsys in the last 10 years and she said it could be scar tissue from them, while i was there i had a listen to the heartbeat and its strong and clear so fingers crossed its just me being over paronoid !! ive seen a doppler in a catalogue and im considering buying it just to reassure me when im worried also baby has started moving now, im probably just worrying over nothing !!
What kind of bleeding?? Bright Red - Call your dr...,. pinkish or brown - if you had intercourse or an exam - it could be from that - but I would call your dr just in case they may want to see you.... as for your symptoms I think it is pretty safe to say that a lot of pregnant woman feel not pregnant at times....but if you try I am sure you can find something to reassure you... for me it was my sense of smell - I would just find a resturant or a person who I know wore a lot of cologne and see if I could smell it from far away... your exhaustion and bad morning sickness is a great sign all is well....Also, a girl on her recommended to me to rent a dopplar for $22 a month for a couple of months until she started moving really reassured me.... I hope all is well - please let me know what the dr says....
