bleeding please help

I am exactly 39wks with my very first. At 3:30am I went to go pee and when I looked down there was a quarter sized blood stain on my underwear then when I wiped there was bright red blood and a pea sized ball of blood that was like maybe a clot thing and so I wiped  2 more times and both times the blood was bright pink. It wasnt alot of blood but it was a medium amount. I called L&D and they said since it was mainly bright pink blood she didnt think it was anything bad but to put a pad on and monitor it do I did and in an hour very little blood was on the pad but I wiped about 3 times in that hour snd every time it had bright pink blood lightly on the tissue, so I called L&D again and she said she still didnt think it was urgent so monitor it for another hour, but I fell asleep and when I woke up at 11am I went and there was a little bloody discharge and slightly pink blood but very little. Now its 2pm and ive wiped 2 more times and there wasnt any blood.
Also ive been having cramping for the past week and my doc said its probably just contractions.
Im sorry this is so long.

What do you think? Is this ok?

I hope this means I will be having him soon. Im not bleeding anymore really but a couple hours ago when I wiped a little bit of discharge tinged with blood was on the toliet paper but since then its stopped.

I had the same thing, it was my bloody show had my daughter almost a day later! Congrats, sounds like you are near.

When. I was pregnant with my son I started bleeding like you by the afternoon my water broke then a dew hours later the contractions came so maybe sign you will give into labor

I called L&D again a few minutes ago and the nurse said as long as im not saturating a pad in a hour or gushing then its ok. And she said pink blood and red blood are different kinds of blood, bright red blood is mainly blood but bright pink blood is normally mixed with mucus and is diluted which is why bright pink blood isnt really a concern like bright red blood is.

Your right bloody show shouldn't have that much blood, but if it's cause for concern I'd take myself in. Either that or have them explain why it isn't anything to be concerned out. Ask what they think it could be.

I thought with the bloody show there would be alot less blood and more discharge?

It sounds to me like it is the bloody show. That neans that labor is coming soon. Congrats
