bleeding?

I went to my OB today for my monthly check, I'm 6mo right now, and she said there was a bit of blood in my urine. She didn't seem too worried. She said she'd send it to the lab to make sure its not a UTI. I told her I had some slight cramping but she said this is all normal. Has this happened to anyone else? I never noticed when I went to the bathroom that I was even bleeding, nothing was red.

Anything with blood in it gets sent just to be safe, unless it's someone on her period(obviously not in this case lol) small amounts are very common and could be just from irritation in or around the urethra or vagina.

Thank you! The cramping never bothered me much, I figured it was normal and bound to happen and it wasn't severe just more annoying. The blood kind of scared me but she didn't seem to be worried about it.

Yes it's normal, the test strips can detect a tiny amount of blood, small enough that you wouldn't notice at all. Slight cramping is also normal, there's lots of stretching going on. Don't worry too much :)
