Well they did it and got a way with it she went to everyone in the building about it. The nursing administrator human resources and even I can't if what his title was but the guy that is in charge of our whole facility.
Its agenst the law to do that putting in danger a baby and if he fires you or if you have a docters note saying you cant do something its with in the law to follow thoughs request or you are alliwed to sue them
Some facility at least the one I work at don't care if ur pregnant. The expect u to still do things just like if u weren't pregnant. One pregnant girl that I work with was having a rough pregnancy and had a Dr note and everything say she was on restrictions. And our DON told her that they can't work with her on her restrictions. So she had to go back to work like normal. And the DON also had the ball to ask her what she carried about more her baby or her job. Our DON is a heartless *****.
tell youur boss youu cant lift that youu aree pregnant, they cant firee youu because of youur childs safety.
if that dont work,
im suree a doctors notee will.
gooood luck mommmma.(:
Dont lift be careful tell your boss you cant lift. I told my firm I cant lift she told me its not lifting you can drag it and that thing is like 3feet taller then me so I just stopped doing it she stopped asking
You shouldn't be lifting by yourself anyways. Even if they are a one person transfer. Try to do as many standby assists as you can or try to be a float between halls (assuming you work for a nursing home). Never be afraid to ask for help even from the nurse. I'm a nurse and I help my aides when they ask.
