Hey ladies, I was at work & about 3 hrs after I got there I felt some weird discharge, but I figured it was normal. I went to the restroom cut it felt uncomfortable & there was blood. Kinda like period blood. I wiped twice & it was still there quite heavy so I put some toilet paper in my undies for the last 2 hrs & when I checked the toilet paper was soaked but I was finished bleeding. I got a positive test about a week ago &now this.. idk if it's normal or a miscarriage. My MIL told me not to go to the hospital cuz it's not a mc & it's just a waste of money.. any experiences? Should I just ignore her & go? She's had 6 kids & said she bled with all of them I guess that's why she's telling me it's normal

Geez. Finally after 4 hrs. They said I had a threatened miscarriage & I need to rest for a few days. I'm only 5 wks. So they only seen the sack but bub is okay thank god! Thanks ladies for the advice & support!
Same happend to me but i didnt bleed that heavy they did an ultrasound at 5 weeks and couldnt see the yolk sac. So i went back when i was 6 weeks and saw the heart beat and my jelly bean baby. They are still worries cause sometimes i have light bleeding so i have another ultrasound at 10 weeks. A threatend MC.. Baby #2
Yeah just be patient but do not leave until you get the ultrasound:) i know sometimes they'll ask if u want to skip the ultrasound just so they dont have to deal with it but always say no ill wait til the ultrasound tech is ready:)
Not yet. This is a crappy hospital though. They took blood and all their tubes kept breaking so it was hell. Getting an ultrasound in a few minutes! I'm only about 5-6 wks. So hopefully I can see something or get some good news sometime soon. It's hard, but I'm being as patient as I can!#
Thanks ladies. I'm already on my way there. Better safe then sorry! In some cases if it's a threatened mc they can sometimes stop it.
GO TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY. Bleeding in early pregnancy can be a sign of a mis carriage or an ectopic pregnancy it needs to be checked out straight away.
Some women do still have a light period or spotting while pregnant but i would definatly get checked because being so early in pregnancy many complications can occur.! Good luck.!!!
I haven't been to the doc. Yet. My appt. Isn't until sept. 3. She said I'll be around 8 wks then so idk if they'll know what to tell me
Umm i would DEFINITELY go to the hospital. She may have a lot of kids but she is not you, you can not compare pregnancies or experiences BC every one is so different.
Could be implantation bleeding. But i woks want to know for sure and not go based on some ones opinion.
And if it turns out to be nothing then great, but i would much rather have it be nothing and go then have it be a miscarriage and never know

You could always call a hospital and ask them or even you ob if your not sure what to do id call and see..when I found out I was pregnant I called my ob right away so she new I wasnt bleeding but its still good there for you so use them good luck
