im 6 1/2 weeks is it normal to be very bloated? I look like im 5 months pregnant..

Your comments made me feel A LOT better. I am 6 weeks today with my first child and I share all of your pain about bloating and clothes not fitting. I REALLY thouhgt it was just me!!! I am so glad to know it is normal and hopefully it will go away soon!!

i am 6weeks today, and i am sooo relieved to have read these comments. I have 2 daughter's 11 and 18 and i am 39, i am still trying to absorb the fact that i am pregant until the past couple of days, the symptoms have kicked in REALLY KICKED IN, my boobs hurt so bad, im constipated and i'm so tired i could sleep all day. and i have been so bloated, i look 6months preg. i can't get any of my pants on, i feel so uncomfortable, i sat and cried about it today(yes the mood swings have taken over full throttle!) , and i'v e been  thinking even though i havent been over eating that im gaining weight way to fast i need to quit eating so much. it had me very depressed. glad to hear this is normal and other moms to be have experienced this also. thankyou, it made me feel better. :)

I just 6 weeks preggers and have three childern already....I'm huge..the bloating is making me look like 6 months or more...Is it dumb to put on the maternity pants yet..they are much more comfy....glad to see i'm not the only one....

OMG YES!! I am still so bloated at almost 16 weeks. I could pass for 8 months preggo. I hope it goes away but right now it actually feels painful when I get bloated enough!

I am having the same problem, but I am only 4 wks and 5 days. I am so bloated it hurts to breath. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the bloating?

OMG!! me too I'm only a 6 weeks 1 day and I am so bloated I look huge and also feel like I am 5 months or so into this pregnancy! My pants are all getting way too tight and I was wondering if this is normal! Glad to know other people are going through this also

If you look at my pictures you can see how bloated I was at 6 wks I looked huge still do at 12wks now. I just started wearing maternity pants because my jeans are just to uncomfortable with all the bloating I have.

Oh yes!  Definately!  When I was 5 weeks, I looked like I was 12 weeks.  It was all bloating and constipation.  Still look like Im 12 weeks but now I am 7.  I still have bloating but not as bad.  I am pretty petite so its was definately noticable.
